Swapna Ramanath Our pillar of strength is an young IT engineering Graduate from one of the premium institute in Kerala CUSAT. Swapna has been employed in a software firm and had a carrier spread of over two years. Swapna doesn’t want to constrain herself into the cubicle mode of workings. She expressed this to her husband. The idea of starting an endeavor on her own is the culmination of this discussion with her husband. As it says every successful entrepreneur started somewhere. There’s no “crystal balll” that effortlessly launches you out of your cubicle confinement and into the free world of entrepreneurship. For some, the dream to be your own boss grows for a long time, even years, before it finally comes to realization. The truth is, great accomplishment in business grows from just one, petite kernel.
As Swapna says “My path to self-employment was not a regular one. After completing my Engineering graduation from CUSAT like all other techies I too got into the pressurized cubicle working mode. Slowly had self-revelation that this is not the right kind of place for me, which made me think to come out of the cubicle and build something on my own. But, it wasn’t based on a great desire to build a business. Rather, the entrepreneur blood was steadily imbibed into me by my pillar of strength – My Husband”
After the initial distress and hurdles, the learning curve is so great, We came very close to failure. Instead of giving up, We started to develop a deep sense of passion for motivating and educating Myself & My team to reach greater heights in business and income. It became a challenge for me as the segment which I got in was totally unfamiliar to me. Nevertheless, with able backing and support of my Husband and my expertise employees I could substantiate my strong presence in a highly competitive market like UAE. There is no looking back now. It’s just the beginning, I still challenge myself to create on a larger and larger scale every day.”
